Sunday Night Concert at the Jerusalem Center

Every Sunday night there is a concert scheduled in the auditorium of the Jerusalem Center. Musicians are booked one year in advance because performing at the Jerusalem Center is considered a real honor and a feather in their hat. Last night's concert was wonderful as a String Quintet from the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra performed Mozart's String Quintet No 5 in D Major and Bruckner's String Quintet in F Major. Due to bad weather, the concert hall was only about hall full but some of the loyal concert-goers came anyway. It was a thrill to sit in the audience and listen. I looked at those musicians, read their bios, and felt what a privilege to hear them play. They have devoted their lives to just concertize and enrich the lives of those who attend their programs. To say the least, they were fabulous!
